At the crack of 7:15am we headed to Minnesota on Memorial Day. The plan was to say a final farewell to Nathan's sister Andrea as she headed to Paraguay, for Nathan to help with the barn remodel, for a lot of family time since all the Smiths were there, and to relax as summer began. This is just the first of a bunch of vacation posts.
Since Mary's piano is in the 
living room/dining room the kids all love to play it. Lydia proved no exception. She did also enjoy teaming up for a few duets. Amazingly, she can make any piece dissonant and completely transpose a melody without much effort. We'll see how lessons actually go in a few years. :)
