Airventure 2009 #7

One of the biggest highlights of the day was the War Birds Extravaganza that closed the airshow. There were what seemed like hundreds of different WW2, Korean, and Vietnam era planes buzzing around like mad. They flew in formation from the four corners of the sky, took off and landed right in front of us in rapid succession, and "dropped" bombs that exploded into giant walls of flames. I might not be able to name them but I can thank them. Past and present we have the most amazing military in the world. On this day they entertained us but every day they defend us. Thank you.
