2nd of what will be many

When in Rome...... or at least when in Oshkosh do as the Oshkoshonians. Since we are at an aviation hub we've embraced the local culture and have already made two trips to the EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association) Museum. Since Nathan has been successful in his plot to get the kids in love with airplanes they think it's one of the coolest things ever. In all honesty it is one of the nearest places I've ever visited. It does help that I have eager children and an excited husband every time we go. :)

1. The kids checking out the fighter jet on the EAA grounds once flown by the Paul Poberezny, the founder of EAA.

2. "Hey, what's in here?"

3. Lydia in one of the pedal airplanes at the Pioneer Airport a 30s era airport on the grounds. In the background you see a red plane used for Young Eagle flights. These are free flights for kids age 8-18 to get them interested in aviation. Evan's thoughts, "Can we live here till I'm eight."

4. Hans and Dad happy to be "flying".

There will probably be more visits to and pictures from this place in the years to come. :)
