Our First Airventure

Going with the "When in Oshkosh..." theme we took in some of the Airventure festivities this past week. Nathan actually was employed as security there and put in 98 1/2 hours in nine days. The kids and I didn't spend quite that much time there but did have a lot of fun.

a. The Good Year blimp was Lydia's favorite thing about Airventure; it's slow moving and quiet. That can't be said for most of the aircraft flying around.

b. Quite awhile ago Hans decided that the Piper Meridian was his favorite plane. Here he is proud to be sitting in one.

c. Many of the planes on the grounds are to be looked at but not touched. Any that could be touched or even climbed in were a hit. Here are all three kids in the mock up of Cirrus' new jet.

d. Hans thought this plane looked just right for him since it's kid sized.
