It was bound to happen sometime. With my brother's as uncles I'm surprised it hasn't happened earlier. Evan has his arm in a bright blue waterproof cast. Yup. He's got a broken arm. Evan was climbing up a slide (something his parents have always allowed and will continue to allow)
when Lydia chose to go down the same slide. With both gravity and his sister teaming up against him Evan took a tumble and fractured his arm just above the wrist. If you're not trained you might not see the break but I thought it might be fun to share the x-ray. This is just a picture of the printout the tech gave Evan. He asked that I draw a lion on his cast so that is what he's showing off in the second picture. Since he's young and heals quickly he'll be out of the cast soon, less than a month total time in the cast. Although sometimes it itches "like 100 mosquito bites", he doesn't mind it too much
since it gets him out of washing dishes. :o)
