It was a warm summer day and this was a gentle rain so when the kids asked if they could put puddle boots on and go play in it I figured why not. They spent nearly an hour dashing around stomping in puddles and catching raindrops. We followed it up with warm baths, early pajama time, and a movie together before bed. Childhood only comes once.
